Your body.

Your Pace.

Your

project.

what is project body?

Project Body is a personal training and coaching studio built around the idea that progress isn’t one-size-fits-all—and your body deserves more than quick fixes and cookie-cutter programs.

Project Body was created for people who want to feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies—without being pressured into unrealistic standards or extreme approaches.

We believe your body is an ongoing project. One that evolves as your life, goals, and needs change. That’s why our training is built around personalization, education, and sustainability, not punishment or trends.

Whether you’re training in person at our Pawtucket studio or working with us virtually, every program is designed to support your body and your pace.

our philosophy

At Project Body, strength is more than how much you lift.

It’s how confident you feel walking into a room.
It’s trusting your body again after years of frustration.
It’s learning how to train in a way that supports your life—not takes over it.

We focus on:

  • Building real, functional strength

  • Creating sustainable habits you can actually maintain

  • Improving body composition without obsession

  • Supporting both physical and mental well-being

There’s no “perfect body” here—only progress that makes sense for you.

Project Body was founded by Brian Soares, a personal trainer and coach based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Brian’s approach to training is rooted in working with real people—people with busy schedules, past injuries, body image struggles, and goals that extend far beyond aesthetics. Rather than pushing extremes, he focuses on smart programming, education, and building confidence through sustainable strength training.

Brian has been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer since 2019, bringing an education-driven approach to coaching that prioritizes clear communication, adaptability, and long-term progress.

Before transitioning fully into fitness, Brian spent over seven years working in Special Education and held an active Massachusetts teaching license in Special Education and Middle School Mathematics. His background in psychology and education shapes how he coaches today—meeting clients where they’re at and supporting how they learn, adapt, and grow over time.

Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Education.
